Black Forest Cake

This cake is popular recipe and loved by many people because of the perfect match of chocolate and cherry. Materials That You Need
- 175g salted butter, plus extra for greasing
- 200g bar dark chocolate
- 300g plain flour
- 375g golden caster sugar
- 25g cocoa
- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 2 medium eggs
- 200g buttermilk or natural yoghurt
- 425g can pitted cherries, 2 tbsp juice reserved, rest drained
- 100g morello cherry jam
- 4 tbsp kirsch (or more juice from a can if you want it to be non-alcoholic)
- 500ml tub double cream
- 3 tbsp icing sugar
- 1 small punnet fresh cherries (optional)
Preparation for Black Forest Cake
First you need to boil water, use kettle for these.
Take butter and 75 gr broken chocolate pieces into a pan, and heat it with continously stirring until completely melt.
Take dry ingredients; flour, sugar, cocoa and sodium bicarbonate adn pinch of salt in another mixing bowl. Whisk egg with butter milk or yoghurt. Scrape this mixture and cohocolate mixture that you have prepared first and add into the mixture of dry ingredients. Add the 100 ml of water that you are boiled. Whisk all of them with a mixer.
Grease the 3 x 20cm cake tins to prevent sticking. ;Pour this mixture equally to tins and bake it for 25 minutes in pre heated 180C oven. You can push fork and if it comes out clean and non sticky, the cake is baked. You can understand clearly by this way.
Take 2 tbsp reserved cherry juice and the kirsch and pour on the cake to get wet.
Take remaining drained cherries and jam and mix. Tip 200ml of the cream into a pan and heat just until it’s shimmering point. Chop the remaining dark chocolate on this mixture and pour hot cream too. Miz all of them to combine well.
After cakes are cooled whisk the remaining cream with icin sugar until it becomes soft. Spread this mixture between the cakes and place cherries on this mixture. Rhen place final cake spread chocolate cream on it.
