Celebration Chocolate Cake
Celebration chocolate cake is a delicious moist cake that you can prepare for celebrations. Cake looks god with white chocolate icing. It is a good choice as wedding anniversary cake too.
Materials That You Need for Celebration Chocolate Cake
190g/6½oz self-raising flour
150g/5oz caster sugar
2 level tbsp cocoa powder
1 level tsp bicarbonate of soda
1 level tsp baking powder
2 tbsp golden syrup
2 free-range eggs
150ml/¼ pint sunflower oil
150ml¼ pint milk
For Preparation of Icing
200g/7oz white chocolate
150ml/¼ pint double cream
1 x 125g/4½oz tub full-fat cream cheese
Preparation of Celebration Chocolate Cake
Start with pre heat the oven to 180C. And take two 20cm straight-sided loose bottomed sandwich tins, grease the bottom of each and line with greaseproof paper.
Sift all of the dry ingredients into a mixing bowl. Make a well in centre of bowl. Add syrup, eggs, oil and milk on dry ingredients whisk with electric mixer. Pout this mixture into tins that you have prepared. Bake the cakes in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. Remove from tins and leave for complete cooling.
For preparing of icing; break white chocolates into pieces in bowl. Then heat double cream in pan until it becomes very hot, but it should not boil. Then pour this heated cream on white chocolate to melt it. Stir until the chocolate melt well.
Take the cream cheese with spoon in a bowl. Slowly add into the white chocolate mixture. And stir well to combine two of them. Set aside and leave for cooling necessary enough for ice.
Spread half of the icing on one of the cakes and place the other cake. Then cover all around the cake with remained frosting properly.
