Ingredients for Cocoa Cherry Cake:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1.5 cups of cocoa
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon of baking soda
  • 3 one egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1.5 cups of vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Dressing materials:

  • 3 cups cherry
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup cherry juice
  • 1 cup of starch
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Cream Supplies:

  • 2 cups liquid cream
  • ½ cup powdered sugar

Method

Start the preparation of the cake first. Take dry ingredients like flour, baking powder, cocoa, baking soda in the vessel after sieved. Add sugar and mix them all. Now; add liquids like eggs, milk, oil and vanilla extract into the dry ingredients.

Start mixing in the mixer with low speed. Then increase the speed.

When the dough is ready grease two 23 cm cake baking tin.

Divide the dough into two pieces and add into cake molds.

Bake these cake muffins in preheated oven for 180 degree 35 minutes.

After cake cooked take this from oven, allow to cool at room temperature.

Get 3 cups of cherries in mixing bowl. Add sugar, cherry juice and starch in it mix and boil it.

When it began to boil and thicken take it and leave to cool.

Now it is time to prepare cream of the cake. Take 2 cups heavy cream into a bowl. Add the powdered sugar and continue mixing until the cream thickens in the mixer. After the cream is seperate 2 cups of cream, you will use this for dressing later.

Remove cakes from each mold. Divide each cake from the middle. After dividing, take one of the cake and crumbled into a bowl.

Take one of the cake base in plate. Apply cream with spatula. Pour the cherry smoothly on the cream. Put another cake on the cherry for 2nd floor. Apply cream and pour cherry sam efor this cake too.

Cover completely with the side of your cake with cream after putting on the final layer cake.

After coating the paste ; custard cream cake pieces that crumble as decoration.

Then take the cream you seperate first and add to tube and decorate the edges with this cream. Decorate the middle of your cake with cherry as you want.

Refrigerate for several hours after you decorate your cake. Then serve!
