Orange Crunch Cake

Materials That You Need for Orange Crunch Cake:
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil3 eggs
- 2 tablespoons grated orange zest
- 1 (16 ounce) can prepared vanilla frosting
- 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 3 tablespoons grated orange zest
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
- 1 (11 ounce) can mandarin oranges, drained
Preparation of Orange Crush Cake
Preheat oven to 175C and take two9 inch cake pans. Grease two bottom of them. Take and mix graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, walnuts and butter. Take this mixture and divide equally to two pans and set aside.
Take cake mix, water, orange juice and oil in a medium mixing bowl. Mix all of them well. Beat the eggs one by one and mix in the orange zest. Then pour this mixture to the pan on the crunchy mixture that you have prepared first.
Bake this 2 cakes in preheated oben for 30 minutes then put a tootpick inside, if it comes out clean; this means the cake is baked. Leave it to cool for 10 minutes. It should cool completely before frosting.
Take the vanilla frosting in abowl and beat it until becomes light; after that mix in the whipped topping. Add orange and lemon zest and mix them. Take this frosting and frost between the cakes, top of the cake and sides.Prepare orange sections on top. Them put it in the refrigerator.
